Branwyn Poleykett is a postdoctoral research associate on the Visual Representations of the Third Plague Pandemic project at the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (CRASSH) at the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on the historical and anthropological study of science, public health, and medical research in Sub-Saharan Africa. Her PhD thesis examined the postcolonial history of the sanitary regulation of commercial sex work in Dakar, Senegal.
