Maria Vidart-Delgado


Maria Vidart-Delgado is a cultural anthropologist. She is currently the bilingual web content manager for the Union of Concerned Scientists. She received her PhD in Cultural Anthropology from Rice University in 2013. From 2013-2015 she was a Mellon Postdoctoral fellow in Anthropology at MIT, where her research explored the design practices and ordering logics that shape political participation in late-liberal democracies. She is also the co-founder of Department of Play, a Boston-based collective that creates temporary play zones in public spaces.
