Penny Harvey is Professor of Anthropology at the University of Manchester. She is currently co-writing a book with Deborah Poole entitled Experimental States: Creativity, Uncertainty and Forms of the Political in Neoliberal Peru – and a new collection on Infrastructure and Social Complexity, co-edited with Casper Bruun Jensen and Atsuro Morita is published by Routledge in the fall of 2016.
