Brian Lindseth is a graduate student in Sociology and Science Studies at UCSD. He is in the finishing stages of revising his dissertation on the politics of ecology during the cold war period. In addition to his dissertation research – and his more recent focus on energy policy, Brian has also enjoyed researching the social dynamics of computing. While the bulk of his time has been spent on research and teaching, Brian has recently begun working as a contractor for a local cleantech startup that is interested in producing a low cost platform for renewable energy. Before returning to school, Brian supported workforce management software and worked as a data analyst and then database programmer in the private sector.
