Dubuisson-Quellier

Sophie Dubuisson-Quellier is research professor at Sciences Po and works at the Centre de sociologie des organisations in Paris. Her research is situated in the field of economic sociology, and her focus is on the interactions between firms, markets and social movements. Her aim is to understand how consumers’ economic behavior is progressively shaped by the relationship between business practice, government, and social movements. This research has led her to study businesses themselves, and more generally all market professionals (designers, consulting firms), in order to understand how they derive their view of consumer preferences such that they can then define and market their products.
