David Schleifer researches and writes about food, healthcare, technology, education and public opinion. He holds a PhD in sociology from New York University and he wrote his dissertation about how and why food corporations invested in replacing trans fats. He is the Director of Research at at Public Agenda, a nonpartisan, nonprofit research and engagement organization.
